About
The atlas of the healthspan economy.
A record of the field built to be read by people and cited by the systems they now ask.
What we believe
Search became answers
A growing share of people no longer scroll a page of blue links. They ask an AI assistant, and they act on the answer it gives. In that world, the organizations cited inside the answer are considered, and the ones that are not are simply absent, regardless of reputation, pricing, or quality of care.
That shift is uneven. Across the healthspan economy, in longevity, women's health, integrative medicine, and diagnostics, established names that AI search cannot see are outranked by smaller operators with better-structured content. The gap is not about merit. It is about whether the field is written in a way machines can read.
Healthspan Economy exists to record the field properly: who is building it, what they actually do, and where they gather. A structured, neutral, evidence-led account that both a reader and a retrieval system can trust.
How it is built
A record, and the research on top of it
The Atlas is the system of record: organizations, the modalities they offer, and the events where the field convenes, each entry reviewed, classified, and marked up so it can be cited accurately. The modality pages carry an explicit evidence tier, because an honest record says plainly where the science is settled and where it is not.
On top of the record sits original research. The first report audited twenty-five longevity clinics across four AI search engines and two hundred query-platform observations, and it sets the pattern: a report into each segment of the field, mapping who AI search has chosen and who it has overlooked. The site you are reading is built to the same standard it measures, clean, fast, semantic, and citable.
The terminology, briefly
Healthspan, longevity, lifespan
What is the difference between healthspan, lifespan, and longevity?
Lifespan is the total number of years a person lives. Healthspan is the number of those years lived in good health, free of chronic disease and disability. Longevity is the broader pursuit of extending both. Healthspan is the measure that matters most to the field this record covers, because the work is about the quality of years, not only the quantity.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is Healthspan Economy?
Healthspan Economy is the atlas of the global healthspan economy: a structured, evidence-led record of the organizations, modalities, and events shaping healthy longevity. Alongside the Atlas, it publishes original research into how AI search cites the field. It is editorial and free to read.
Who is behind Healthspan Economy?
Healthspan Economy was founded by Sumesh Peringeth, a brand strategist with more than 25 years across Asia-Pacific agencies. The work applies that experience to a single question: how the healthspan field is recorded, understood, and cited, by people and by AI.
Is the research independent?
Yes. The reports are self-funded, no organization in the study panels paid for inclusion or review, and findings are published whether or not they flatter a brand. Disclosures and methodology are printed inside each report. The same independence applies to the Atlas: inclusion is editorial, never paid.
Can I cite the Atlas and the reports?
Yes. The Atlas and all published research are free to read and free to cite with attribution to Healthspan Economy and a link to healthspaneconomy.com.
