The emirate with the license has fewer

Abu Dhabi is the one place Healthspan Economy has found that licenses longevity medicine clinics as their own category. The Department of Health Abu Dhabi’s Healthy Longevity Medicine Clinic Standard has been in effect since April 2025. It fixes a mandatory assessment, sorts tests by evidence and sets who must deliver the service. The standard is read in full in Where is longevity medicine licensed.

Dubai has moved later. Law No. 17 of 2026, issued June 10, 2026, established the Dubai Longevity Authority with a mandate to license the chain from research to patient clinics, and as of July 2026 the authority was standing up that regime rather than issuing clinic licenses. What binds a Dubai clinic today, on the sources checked, is the Dubai Health Authority’s Standards for Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine, effective April 20, 2025, which covers stem cell and regenerative services in the facilities it licenses.

So the record puts most of the operators in the emirate without a dedicated longevity license, and fewer in the emirate that has one. The atlas does not record which facilities hold an Abu Dhabi license, and nothing here says any recorded Abu Dhabi operator does.

The rest of the country

The UAE has seven emirates. Outside Dubai and Abu Dhabi the record is close to empty.

That could be a fact about the market. It could equally be a fact about the map. This is reasoning, not a finding: a record is densest where it has looked hardest, and the atlas cannot yet tell a thin market from an unread one. It says so rather than choosing. Healthspan Economy has not read how Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah license clinics, so this page says nothing about their rules.
